Lydia's story

Lydia joined KJ Smith in 2022 as a paralegal at our Southampton office. Her role covers a wide variety from days in court to sitting in on Free Initial Consultations.

Helping others has always been her passion which she has been able to transform into her career. She pursued this while undertaking her LLB at the University of Sussex where she worked within the Family Law Clinic offering free legal advice to citizens.

Lydia always had a desrire to make an impact when people were at their most vulnerable. Since joining KJS she has become a Trainee Solicitor and has something of a dynamic duo reputation with Robyn Bowyer.

Gavin's Story

Support roles are as important to KJS as legal roles. Gavin joined KJ Smith in 2018 as an IT and Operations Assistant where he maintained and supported operations across 13 offices.

His role covers a broad spectrum from IT issues to and leading Project management.

Gavin joined us on a temporary contract, 6 years on he is thriving and leading in his well deserved promotion to Operations Manager.

He mentions the way KJS staff support and help with career progression is the best he has seen, with a mention of how friendly and helpful they are.
