We take pride in uplifting the communities around us and encourage each office to get involved in activites locally which are close to their hearts, ranging from Ice Hockey to local Theatre and Running Clubs (just to name a few).

By giving each office creative autonomy over what they are a part of allows for people's different personalities and interests to be shared amongst the team and celebrated. collectively.

The Newbury office enjoyed an evening of cooking some delicious Italian treats at the North Sydmonton along side Mariella Bliss from the Honesty Cooking School. Finally, thank you to everyone who joined us this evening. We hope you enjoyed it as much as we did!

The KJS team had a brilliant day at the Woodley Carnival on Saturday! 🥳 Thank you to everyone that visited our stand. It was a special pleasure to meet the Rt Hon. Theresa May, who popped by to say hello. Thank you to this year's leads on the carnival. Thank you to Faizah and Steph, and to Rachelle and Kim for helping with the set-up. Thank you to Saira, Sofie, and Jess for helping with all the day's activities. And, most importantly, thank you to Launchpad for all that you do in helping to end homelessness across Reading.

Beaconsfield Scannappeal Sponsorship

This week, Anna Ferro and Evie Smith attended the Scannappeal Business Breakfast at Adams Park. The highlight of the morning was hearing from Naomi Riches MBE DL, British adaptive rower and London 2012 Paralympic gold medallist, who shared her journey to the Games and the vital role of resilience in life, work, and business. We’re proud to support Scannappeal and the incredible work they do. Funds raised help provide lifesaving medical equipment for local hospitals - making a real difference in our local community. A huge thank you to Scannappeal for organising such a fantastic event, and to everyone who made it a success. We look forward to the upcoming events later this year! 💙

Guildford

Guildford Legal Walk

Our brilliant Guildford team did The Guildford Legal Walk on the 2nd of July 👟 Eva Artemis led our KJS team on a 10km journey through the picturesque Surrey countryside to raise vital funds for the provision of free legal advice in Surrey. The rising cost of living has made the work that local legal advice charities provide so more vital than ever. The money raised from the walk will go towards ensuring these important services stay open for those that need them. Well done Team Guildford 📣

Callum Pitfield and Antonia Clarke attended the Reading University Law Careers Fair 2025, meeting many engaged and curious students eager to learn more about a career in law. It was a fantastic afternoon filled with thoughtful questions, great conversations about family law, and discussions on the many different pathways into a legal career. We thoroughly enjoyed connecting with so many passionate future professionals and we’re excited to see where their journeys take them next.
