Lois is the cornerstone of the Ascot office, who keeps our cases running fluidly and efficiently. As an experienced legal secretary, she finalises correspondence and court forms to make sure we hit our deadlines and communicate promptly with our clients and the other side.
You’re likely to speak to Lois as one of the first ports of call at the Ascot office. Her colleagues describe her as “always there on the other end of the line, ready to help”. Lois is a key member of the payments team and greets clients at reception. Coming into a solicitor’s office for the first time can be daunting, but Lois’s affable welcome will put you at ease.
Lois supports the team with a range of administrative tasks and makes sure all of our clients are well looked after.
Q: Outside of work, what are your hobbies and interests?
A: I enjoy gardening. I also look after my brother, who has Down syndrome. We go for nature walks together in search of the best cafes.
Q: Who would be your dream dinner party guests, and why?
A: Keanu Reeves, Henry Winkler, Louis Theroux, and the Dalai Lama, as they all seem like genuinely nice people. I’d also love my late mum to be there. I’d ask Nigella to cook for us!
Q: Is there anything random about yourself that your colleagues wouldn’t know?
A: For two years, I lived in a croft (a small-scale farm) on an island in the Outer Hebrides.
