Joe joined KJS as a paralegal at our Newbury office. His day-to-day tasks mainly consist of assisting the solicitors in the firm with their caseload. This can be via drafting letters and forms, preparing court documents, and meeting with clients. Joe enjoys the human aspect of supporting each client personally through the often-difficult circumstances they find themselves in.
After graduating from Cardiff University in July 2024, Joe has been applying the transferable skills that he acquired through pro bono and volunteer work into his role at KJS, where he is further developing his legal knowledge and understanding.
Joe applies his meticulous and caring approach to the clients he liaises with, ensuring they are empowered from the beginning to the end of their matter.
Q: What’s your go-to karaoke song?
A: Cast No Shadow by Oasis. It is definitely not a karaoke song, and you certainly do not want to hear me sing anything, but it would help me cope with the fact that I wasn't lucky enough to get the reunion tickets.
Q: What is something completely random about yourself that your colleagues wouldn’t know?
A: I can name every single Formula One World Champion in chronological order, starting from the sport's inception in 1950. No one ever needs to know that information, but just in case they do, you know who to call!
Q: Coffee or Tea?
A: Tea! It's much more versatile. You can't have a coffee in the evening.
