Eleanor is an Associate Solicitor in our Basingstoke office and supervises the office’s Paralegals, Trainee Solicitors, and Junior Lawyers. Her work spans the full spectrum of family law matters, and she has a special interest in assisted conception and surrogacy cases.
Eleanor is an expert in all matters relating to relationship breakdown, whether in relation to married or unmarried couples. Her expertise covers divorce, matrimonial finance, unmarried cohabitation, and child arrangement matters. Eleanor is also experienced in providing advice on nuptial agreements and cohabitation agreements. She has a strong focus on achieving workable settlements for her clients with a constructive steer, aiming to minimise acrimony between the parties.
As a member of Resolution, Eleanor takes a conciliatory approach wherever possible and helps families find a new, amicable dynamic.
Eleanor also helps individuals and couples navigate alternative routes to parenthood. She is passionate about guiding parents and intended parents through their fertility and surrogacy law journeys so that they can focus on their journey into parenthood, knowing that the legal aspects are taken care of. Eleanor is a recognised talent in surrogacy law and has presented on the topic to international experts.
In her spare time, Eleanor enjoys rock climbing, wild swimming, paddleboarding, and anything else that gets her out into nature.
