Client Relations & Compliance
Kim is based primarily at our Woodley Office but frequently visits the firm's other offices to provide administrative support to the teams.
Since leaving school with various secretarial qualifications (RSA and Pitmans), administrative NVQs and Advanced Business GNVQ Kim has always worked in office environments, providing secretarial and administrative support to senior staff and management as well overseeing day-to-day office administration.
Kim began working for Kerry Smith in 2003 as her legal secretary and was the very first employee to be taken on at K J Smith Solicitors in 2009.
Her current role not only includes assisting the secretaries with the daily running of the offices, but also providing daily operational and administrative support to the directors, seniors and staff alike. Kim is the primary individual responsible for the centralised billing process, is the firm’s Health and Safety Officer and Client Relations Officer.
In addition, she assists Davina Hodgkiss with compliance, complaints and HR. Kim has a good general understanding of family law and is able to step in to assist with client matters as required.

All our offices are easily accessible by road, rail or bus and we are open Monday to Friday from 8:30am to 6:00pm. With today's busy schedules, we offer telephone appointments outside normal office hours until 9pm on Thursdays and between 10am and 3pm on Saturdays.
