Kate is a Senior Solicitor based in our Guildford and London offices. Kate completed her law degree at Brunel University followed by the Law Society’s Final Examination at the College of Law, Guildford.
Kate has specialised exclusively in family law since 1995 and has held a variety of roles including heading up the Family team at a London and Thames Valley based Legal 500 firm.
Kate can advise on all areas of family breakdown including: divorce and the breakdown of civil partnerships, issues arising on separation, matrimonial finance, cohabitation, complex or substantial asset cases, matters with an international element, bespoke agreements to preserve wealth both pre and post marriage, orders relating to children - including wardship, adoption, international leave to remove and child relocation, whether there are grounds to challenge a Will or an Estate where no Will has been made, contested probate and Inheritance Act claims.
Kate is committed to dealing with the consequences of relationship breakdown in a constructive and sensitive way. Kate’s experience of dealing with family law matters enables her to guide and advise on the best way to progress a matter with the emphasis on cost effective resolution at an early stage where achievable. If required Kate will liaise with other expert professionals to deliver solution based advice and strategies.
