Emma is a Trainee Solicitor based at our Guildford office. Emma has over ten years’ experience within the Domestic Abuse field as well as a background in supporting clients with mental health and learning difficulties who find themselves involved in court proceedings.
Although Emma is experienced in all areas of family law, she is currently working as part of our Estate Planning & Wealth Management team. Emma is skilled at drafting Wills, Lasting Power of Attorney applications, Court of Protection applications, probate registrations and change of name Deeds.
Emma is a member of Resolution and has experience within the full range of matrimonial matters, however, Emma has a passion for supporting vulnerable clients through injunctive proceedings and with child contact matters.
Emma’s supportive and empathetic manner is often praised by clients as she adopts an approachable, empathetic and understanding approach to all aspects of her work. Emma puts her client’s at ease and enjoys building professional and friendly relationships with them.
Emma studied Law at the University of Winchester, where she achieved a First Class Honours Degree. Emma then went on to study the Legal Practice Course with a Master of Laws at the University of Law, Guildford and she was awarded a distinction for her Masters and a commendation for the LPC.
