K J Smith Solicitors are thrilled to announce that Woodley FC beat rivals Marlow United 2 - 1 at the Bracknell FC Stadium on Saturday 15 April, winning promotion to Step 5 football going into next season. The Cup win is the biggest competition the club’s first team can win outside the FA Vase and FA Cup.

Played in front of 850 fans including the Mayor of Woodley, Jenny Cheng, Marlow started the better of the two sides but Woodley did enough in the second half to get the deserved win with goals from Danny Horscroft and Josh Drew. The game received extensive coverage in local press, including an article in the Wokingham News.
Chris Coniam, Commercial Director at the club commented “from our thriving mini kickers, through our 30 youth teams to our very successful mens and ladies teams we have lived by our motto Gaudium joci Causa “Enjoyment in Sport” for over 500 local footballers and their families”.
