Kerry Smith is the founder and driving force behind KJ Smith Solicitors. After completing a degree in Law at Nottingham University, Kerry completed her Legal Practice Course at Guildford Law School. Since qualifying as a Solicitor in 1994 Kerry has worked exclusively in the field of family law. Over the years Kerry and her staff have earned plaudits from clients for the quality of their work and professionalism.

Kerry has personally dealt with well over a thousand cases, ranging from the straightforward to the highly complex. In all cases, whether relating to financial matters or to issues concerning children, our aim is to provide timely, sensible and logical advice throughout in order to ensure that a good outcome can be achieved as early as possible.

We take pride in delivering an unparalleled service, in a friendly way. We consistently deliver, no matter how difficult or sensitive the situation. We are also Resolution members (a highly respected national family law association).

Our firm has 3 directors; Keith Howell-Jones LLM (Chairman), Simon Carter LLB (Head of Compliance) and Kerry Smith LLB (Head of Family Law). Other members of the team are: Geoff Watts (Practice Manager), Sharon Micuta (Legal Assistant), Samantha Stark (Trainee Solicitor), Kim Tyler (Legal Assistant), David Ritchie (Finance Manager) and Marc Carmel (Accounts).
